Employment consulting rooted in assessment centre practice

Origin
The practice began after watching strong applicants lose ground in centres not for lack of ability, but because they had never practised under observation. Group discussions rewarded different habits than university seminars. Case packs punished slow framing. Competency interviews exposed thin examples from internships that had never been structured.
From Ensdorf in Thüringen we now run preparation days and station drills for candidates targeting employers across Germany — industrial conglomerates, banks, consultancies, and consumer brands that still run multi-exercise Assessment-Center days.
Working approach
We treat the invitation letter as the brief. When an employer lists Fallstudie and Interview but no Gruppendiskussion, we do not fill the day with group theatre. When the centre is known for peer ranking in cooperation tasks, we practise influence without domination.
Feedback is behavioural and written. We name what assessors would likely mark — interrupting, burying the recommendation, failing to invite quieter voices — and suggest one or two adjustments worth carrying into the real room.
People and values
Sessions are led by consultants with hiring-side and candidate-side experience of German graduate selection. We speak plainly about limits: preparation improves readiness; it does not purchase an offer. We do not claim insider score sheets from named employers. We do respect confidentiality about your target roles and prior attempts.
Community
Many candidates arrive through university career services referrals or after a first unsuccessful centre. We keep groups small so observation notes stay personal, and we offer remote options when travel to Ensdorf is impractical before a tight invitation date.
